Glassmoor Local Environment Fund enables Fenland schools to discover environmental education

Thanks to support from Fenland District Council through the Glassmoor Local  Environment Fund, over 600 children were able to benefit from environmental education courses led by CEES teachers. The project offered schools in the  Glassmoor area visits to Coldham wind farm along with workshops in schools on themes such as renewable energy, habitats, minibeasts, rocks and rivers.

“The workshops have helped the children develop their scientific curiosity and understanding of methodical scientific study. A Brilliant session” teacher, Alderman Jacobs Primary.
