We cannot thank all the staff at Stibbington enough for providing us with two exceptional residential experiences for our children. I am looking forward to next year knowing that I have complete confidence in the organisation and people. There are so many different issues to consider when you bring children away and it makes my job so much easier to know that you work so well together in your own team, but then as part of our team, to provide such a high quality experience for the children. The food was beautiful;  I loved the roast chicken best because the chicken would just fall to bits in your mouth;  My favourite activity was the woodland walk because I found some minibeasts that I thought didn't exist; I loved singing the songs; I had an outstanding time; I hope I can come again.

As ever, our Evacuation day was excellent: brilliantly taught and very much enjoyed by the children, giving them a much clearer understanding of life as an evacuee.

Thank you for the WONDERFUL trip to Stibbington.  I especially liked it when we used ink pens.  The most exciting bit was the air raid because it really felt realistic.  I really liked the playtime with stilts, Anderson Shelter, sand bag filling, digging potatoes, marbles, cup and ball, spinnin g top, skipping rope, yo-yo and other things.  Making the ID cards and doing the quiz really helped me in my learning.  The sandwiches were delicious.  It was interesting that we were real people.

PS  I will recomend Stibbington to my friends and family.

14 - 16 March 2012 Pupil, St Anne's Primary School, Cambridgeshire Stibbington Residential Centre, 3-day programme focussing on life skills, Victorians(History) and minibeasts (Science), Y4 I really liked my bedroom which was the owls room and I shared it with my friends.  The Crunchy Carrot Cafe was really nice because the food was gorgeous.  I liked the lounge because of the comfy chairs and the big TV.  I really enjoyed the classroom because we used smartphones and answer pads for our habitats quiz, and the pledge tree was fun.  The Victorian day was awesome!  The old classroom was very spooky because it looked as if Victorian children still go to that school!

We had the most marvellous day.  We brought our Eco Councillors, School Council and Gardening Group. I could not fault the organisation.  Children came back invigorated having enjoyed all aspects of the day.  Their comments:

Everything was first class.  Children loved the grounds and the catering.  The programme involved a good variety of well-thought out activities.  Our Year 5 Eco Councillors are now "fired up" to lead the rest of the school next year.  They said:

20 April Head Teacher, Icknield Primary School, Cambs Eco Schools and learning in the school grounds - whole staff training day What a fantastic day. All the teachers and the teaching assistants were most impressed with the content, the resources, the handouts and the delivery. There was something for everyone whatever their role, and lots of practical activity. It was lovely to see the staff working together on a common theme and it gave us a tremendous springboard for starting off on our Eco award.

We provide a residential expereince for all 4 of our year groups and the Stibbington experience is a perfect introduction.
